PTSD Alliance – a new resource!

http://www.ptsdalliance.org/

“The Post traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Alliance is a group of professional and advocacy organizations that have joined forces to provide educational resources to individuals diagnosed with PTSD and their loved ones; those at risk for developing PTSD; and medical, health care and other front line professionals.”

I am pleased to add yet a new resource to my website, PTSD Alliance…  Following is a list of alliance members, which are impressive indeed.  My website is becoming so full of references and resources on moral injury and PTSD, that it has occurred to me often that there would be value in attempting to consolidate a bit more through non-profits.  I believe this is starting to happen.  Most now recognize that value of awareness, education, and access to resources that make it happen.  My goal is to add links to these resources as discovered for the convenience of my readers.  My book continues to offer a true story of my own family’s experience coping with PTSD over many decades following WWII.  You can connect the dots by examining your own experience and challenges with PTSD and taking advantage of the resources available to support your journey of healing as an individual and family unit.
